Scarce Waltham “Ladies Enamel” Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill with green and black enamel, circa 1928.
This spectacular ladies’ Waltham has stylized geometric designs in green and black hard enamel. Waltham made very few watches with colored enamel and this is the first example of this model I have seen. It is in excellent condition with only a few specks of brassing to the bezel corners. Enamel inlay is superb and complete. Case back is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 30mm long and 18mm wide. Original dial is good. Glass crystal is excellent, with a few light marks. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Waltham rectangular manual wind movement, just serviced and running well. Has new grosgrain ribbon with vintage white gold filled clasp.
