Elgin “Legionnaire 413” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1929.
The “Legionnaire 413” has a large cushion-shaped case and was priced to consumers at $27.50 in 1929. This example is in crisp, near mint condition with no wear. Caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 34mm long and 29mm wide. Original new old stock black outline numeral dial is superb. The watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 485 movement.
