Rare Hamilton “Webster” men’s Streamline Moderne design Cadillac Motor Car Co. presentation wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1934.

Hamilton's prestige and reputation for quality made it the watch of choice for special presentations, awards, and gifts of esteem. Hamilton produced this specially engraved version of its “Webster” model for the Cadillac Motor Co. in 1931, 1934, and 1935 as awards for employees with 10 years of service to Cadillac, much the same as it did with the "Meadowbrook" model from 1928 to 1930. These were special order watches and the presentation inscriptions on the casebacks were acid etched at the Hamilton factory prior to shipment. Production figures are unknown, but was very limited and this is one of only four that I have ever seen. It is in excellent condition with light brassing to the lugs. Caseback is excellent and bears the special Cadillac crest and presentation engraving for 10 years of service to the Cadillac Motor Car Co., and some light scratches. Case measures 39mm long and 27mm wide. Refinished dial is superb, has solid 18K gold applied numerals. Hands show some minor gold plating loss. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F manual wind movement, just serviced and running well.
