Elgin “Legionnaire 301” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K green gold fill, circa 1928.
The “Legionnaire 301” has a large cushion-shaped case and was priced to consumers at $25.00 in 1928. It is in excellent condition showing no brassing. Caseback is excellent, with a tiny speck of wear in one corner. The case measures 34mm long and 29mm wide. Original new old stock black figure dial is superb. Crown is yellow. The watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 485 manual wind movement.
