Gruen “Strap Model 57” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K green gold fill, circa 1930.
The “Strap Model 57” has ornately engraved case with flared sides and was priced at $45.00 in 1930. It is in excellent condition with only a few tiny specks of brassing. Curved caseback is excellent, with a name engraving. The case measures 36mm long and 26mm wide. Original luminous dial is good. Has new glass crystal. Crown is yellow gold filled. This watch is powered by a 15-jewel Gruen grade 179 manual wind movement, just serviced and running well.
