Hamilton “Spectra” men’s Space Age design electric wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1957.
Just serviced and running strong... The “Spectra” was the third watch introduced in the Electric series in July 1957, priced at $150.00. It has a large round case which is tilted up at the 12 o’clock position. This example is in excellent condition showing only Iight wear and some faint marks to the heavy gold case. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with some light scratches. The ”Spectra” is a large watch, measuring 40mm long and 36mm wide. Original silver finish dial is superb. Acrylic crystal is excellent. The watch is powered by its correct 11-jewel Hamilton grade 500 electric movement, just serviced by me and running strong.
