Elgin “Comrade 310” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in chromium nickel, circa 1931.
The “Comrade 310” has a large barrel-shaped case with stylized Art Deco geometric designs on the bezel. It was priced at $14.85 in 1931. This example is in excellent condition showing only very light wear to the chromium plating. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with some faint scratches. The case measures 38mm long and 30mm wide. Original dial is superb, has gold embossed numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 462 movement.
