Benrus “DTU-2A/P MIL-W-3818B” men’s Military wristwatch in stainless steel, circa 1966.
The United States Department of Defense issued these Benrus wristwatches to military personnel during the Vietnam War. This example is in excellent condition showing only light wear to the parkerized-finish stainless steel one-piece case. The caseback has the appropriate military stampings and is dated June 1966. Case measures 41mm long and 35mm wide. Original black 24-hour dial is superb, with pleasing tropic luminous markers. Minute hand shows some luminous loss. Acrylic crystal is superb. The watch is powered by its correct Benrus grade DR 2F2 movement.
