Very scarce Elgin “Model E-3” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1928.
Usually seen only in gold fill, solid gold examples of the “Model E-3” are quite scarce. This is the first I have ever offered. it was priced at $55.00 in 1928. It is in crisp, excellent condition showing only very light wear. Caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 34mm long and 27mm wide. Original black numeral dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 428 movement.
