Very scarce Elgin “Model 210” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold with black and white enamel, circa 1929.

One of the scarcest and most desirable Elgin designs from the 1920s, the “Model 210” has a solid 14K white gold hinged case inlaid with black and white enamel geometric designs, made by the obscure Strauss & Neugass case company. It was priced to consumers at $65.00 in 1929. This example is in crisp, excellent condition showing almost no wear. The black and white enamel is superb and complete. Hinged caseback is excellent and unengraved, with some of its brushed finish intact. The case measures 35mm long and 24mm wide. Original dial is superb, has gold embossed stylized Egyptian numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 444 movement.
