Rare Elgin “Presentation Model 176” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1931.
This elegant rectangular Elgin wristwatch has an unusual hammered design bezel and was priced to consumers at $75.00 in 1931. It is quite rare, and this is the first I have offered in many years. This example is in excellent condition, showing only the slightest wear to the hammered pattern on the bezel. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 33mm long and 22mm wide. Original dial very good. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 484 movement.
