Elgin “Model 1472” men’s Machine Age design pocket watch in steel, circa 1936.
Elgin also referred to this small watch designed to be carried in the pocket like a coin as “The Coin Watch” and it was priced at $17.50. It is in excellent condition showing only very light wear, all of its factory applied brushed and polished finish is intact. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with some light scratches. The case measures 37mm in diameter. Original two-tone dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. Watch is powered its correct 7-jewel grade 485 movement.
