Uncommon Bulova “Craftsman” men’s Retro Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold with original box, circa 1947.
The “Craftsman” is uncommon in solid gold and this is the first I have offered. It has a rectangular case with large faceted lugs and was priced at $125.00 in 1947. This example is in near mint condition with all of its factory-applied alternating frosted and polished finish intact. Caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 39mm long and 23mm wide. Original two-tone gray dial is superb, has solid 18K applied markers. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 21-jewel Bulova grade 7AK movement. Original plastic and velvet box is excellent.
