Scarce Waltham “Presentation” men’s wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1928.
This model has a very high-quality, heavy tank-shaped curved case in solid white gold made by the boutique case making firm of Katz & Ogush of New York. This is the first example I have seen of this rare Waltham model. It is in crisp, near mint condition showing almost no wear. Hinged caseback is superb, with an elaborate presentation engraving dating the watch to 1928. Case measures 36mm long and 22mm wide. Refinished dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Waltham 7-¼ size rectangular movement.
