Elgin “Campus 936” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in chromium nickel with black enamel bezel, circa 1931.
This striking Elgin wristwatch has a beveled case and Art Deco geometric engraved bezel designs inlaid with black enamel. It was priced at $29.75 in 1931. This example is in excellent condition with all of its frosted chromium finish and black enamel intact on the bezel. Caseback is very good and unengraved, with some light pitting to the chromium finish. The case measures 37mm long and 22mm wide. Original dial is very good. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 488 movement.
