Very rare Hamilton “Touraine” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1940.
The “Touraine” was offered one year only... 1940... and is very rare. This is the first example I have offered in almost 10 years. Priced at $90.00 in 1940, the “Touraine” has a simple square case with a faceted bezel and lugs. This example is in crisp, excellent condition showing only light wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 35mm long and 23mm wide. Original two-tone dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 19-jewel Hamilton grade 982M movement.
