Just serviced and running strong...
The “Ventura” is perhaps Hamilton’s most iconic watch. Introduced in January of 1957 with a futuristic case design to complement the technologically advanced electric movement, it was priced to consumers at $200.00 and was worn by notables such as Elvis Presley and Rod Serling. This example is in excellent condition showing only very Iight wear. The case edges and stepped lugs are still well-defined. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The ”Ventura” is a very large watch, measuring 50mm long and 32mm wide. Refinished black dial is superb. Has new acrylic crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 11-jewel Hamilton grade 500 electric movement, just serviced by me and running strong.(SOLD)
