Rare Waltham “Thunderbird” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1930.
This rare, smaller-sized model has a solid 14K gold double-hinged case made by the Solidarity Watch Case Co. with fantastic Art Deco design stylized thunderbird engravings on the bezel. It is in excellent condition showing only very light wear. Hinged caseback is excellent and unengraved. The hinge pin is broken, but the case snaps together firmly. The case measures 38mm long and 20mm wide. Original two-tone dial is very good, has gold applied numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Waltham movement.
