Scarce Illinois “Piccadilly” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1929.
Among the most desirable of all Illinois wristwatches, the “Piccadilly” has a sculpted oval case. It was priced to consumers at $45.00 in 1929. This is the nicest "Piccadilly" I have ever offered and is in crisp, excellent condition with only a few tiny specks of brassing to the bezel points. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 32mm long and 35mm wide. Refinished dial is excellent, has gold embossed numerals and luminous dots. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Illinois grade 905 movement.
