Scarce Elgin “Uncataolgued” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in yellow gold fill and steel, circa 1934.
This watch has a similar case design as the 6/0-size “Model E-4” from 1928, but is a larger size, housing a 4/0-size movement. It has an Elgin factory-signed case, but I have yet determine its actual name or model number from existing Elgin documenation. This example is in excellent condition, with only light brassing to the lugs. Steel caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 36mm long and 29mm wide. Original gold embossed dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 485 movement.
