Scarce Hamilton “Mason” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 10K white gold fill, circa 1936.
The “Mason” is quite scarce, with only 1,049 watches produced in white. It has a simple Streamlined Moderne tonneau-shaped case with a subtle bezel step and a thin groove along the sides of the case. Not an easy watch to find without significant wear, this example is in excellent condition with only a tiny amount of brassing to the highpoints of the bezel corners and lugs. Caseback is excellent, with a name and date. The case measures 37mm long and 27mm wide. Refinished black enamel painted dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F movement.
