Scarce Hamilton “Foster” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1939.
The “Foster” has a long ribbed case and as priced at $80.00 in 1939. This is the first example I have offered in many years and it is in crisp, excellent condition. The ribs on the bezel and razor sharp. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with one tiny ding. The case measures 43mm long and 21mm wide. Refinished dial is superb, has solid 18K applied numerals. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 19-jewel Hamilton grade 982 movement.
