Zodiac “Astrographic SST” men’s Space Age design wristwatch in 18K yellow gold electroplate and stainless steel, circa 1971.
The UFO-shaped “Astrographic SST” has clear rotating disks so the hands appear to float above the pearlized silver dial. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The massive case measures 44mm long and 44m wide. Original silver pearlized dial is superb. Original crystal is excellent, with a few tiny nicks. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Zodiac automatic movement. Original matching Zodiac adjustable bracelet is excellent.
