Scarce Hamilton “Turner” men’s Art Deco wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill, circa 1935.
The “Turner” has a very distinct, casket-shaped case. Only 6,157 were produced in yellow and it is very difficult to find without heavy wear. It was priced at $40.00 in 1935. This example is in excellent condition showing only light brassing to the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with a few tiny specks of wear. The case measures 39mm long and 27mm wide. Refinished dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F movement.
