Scarce Hamilton “Lee” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill, circa 1934.
The “Lee” was produced in both 14K gold fill and 10K gold fill. The 10K filled version is fairly scarce, with only 2,511 produced. It was priced at $47.50 in 1934. This example is in excellent condition showing only light brassing to the edges of the lugs. Caseback is excellent, with only a few microscopic specks of wear in the corners. The case measures 35mm long and 28mm wide. Original hammered finish dial is excellent, has solid 18K gold applied numerals. Has new glass crystal. Watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F movement.
