Rare Hamilton “Polaris II” men’s Space Age design electric wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1965.
Just serviced and running strong... The “Polaris II” was one of the last models introduced in the Hamilton “Electric” series, priced at $150.00 in 1965. Estimated production of the “Polaris II” is a mere 1,000 watches, with the vast majority being yellow gold. White gold is rare, and it likely that only a few hundred were sold. This example is in excellent condition showing only very light wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 37mm long and 30mm wide. Original dial is excellent. Has new acrylic crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 11-jewel Hamilton grade 505 electric movement, just serviced by me and running strong.
