Rare Hamilton “Square B Engraved” men’s Art Deco design New York Fire Department presentation wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1930.
The “Square B Engraved” is quite rare in solid gold; only 450 were produced. It was priced to consumers at $87.00 in 1930. This is the first I have ever offered. This example is in crisp, excellent condition showing only very light wear. Caseback has a presentation engraving to Battalion Chief John A. Coffey of the New York Fire Department. Case measures 35mm long and 29mm wide. Refinished dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F movement.
