Just serviced and running strong... The “Ventura” is perhaps Hamilton’s most iconic watch. Introduced in January of 1957 with a futuristic case design to complement the amazing electric movement, it was priced to consumers at $200.00 and was worn by notables such as Elvis Presley and Rod Serling. This example is in crisp, excellent condition showing almost no wear. The case edges and stepped lugs are still quite distinct. It is one of the nicest “Venturas” I have ever offered. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The ”Ventura” is a very large watch, measuring 50mm long and 32mm wide. Original factory-finish dial is excellent with a few light marks and some very minor spotting… much too nice to refinish in my opinion. Has new acrylic crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 11-jewel Hamilton grade 500 electric movement, just serviced by me and running strong. Fitted with a new, reproduction gold and black “Ventura” strap.
