Scarce Elgin “Home Run 474” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K green gold fill with original bracelet, circa 1931.
The “Home Run 474” has cushion-shaped case with Art Deco geometric designs on the bezel and case sides. It was priced to consumers at $39.75 in 1931. It is very scarce with its original Kreisler green gold filled basket weave bracelet. This example is in excellent condition with only a few specks of brassing to the bezel corners. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 35mm long and 29mm wide. Original dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. Original bracelet is excellent, showing light overall wear. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Elgin grade 487 movement.
