Scarce Lord Elgin “Aberdeen” men’s Retro Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1956.
The “Aberdeen” is a scarce watch and this is one of only a few I’ve seen. It was priced at $100.00 in 1956. It is in crisp, excellent condition showing only very light wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 38mm long and 23mm wide. Original two-tone dial is very good, with applied gold numerals and markers. Has new domed acrylic crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 21 jewel Elgin grade 713 movement.
