Extremely rare Hamilton Tiffany “Glenn Curtiss” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in solid 18K yellow gold, circa 1930.
Hamilton supplied a select variety of solid gold watches to the prestigious New York jeweler Tiffany & Co. and produced a mere 26 examples of the “Glenn Curtiss” model in solid 18K gold for the firm, priced at $170.00. This example is in excellent condition showing only light overall wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 38mm long and 27mm wide. Refinished dial is superb, has solid 18K yellow gold applied numerals. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 19 jewel Hamilton grade 979-F movement.
