Uncommon Gruen “Kingsley” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1934.
The “Kinglsey” has a fantastic Art Deco stepped case and was priced to consumers at $47.50 in 1934. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with only a touch of brassing to the edges of the lugs. Curved caseback is superb and and unegraved. The case measures 41mm long and 26mm wide. Refinished luminous dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Gruen Guild grade 315 movement.
