Gruen “Autowind Digital” men’s Modern design jump hour wristwatch in yellow gold plate and steel, circa 1976.
This Gruen has a large, chunky case and a digital display window, with the hours disc jumping at each hour. It was priced at $90.00 in 1976. This example is in very good condition with some light brassing to the highpoints and some scratches. Steel caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 45mm long and 39mm wide. Original brown rotating dial discs are excellent. Acrylic crystal is excellent. This watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Gruen grade 156D automatic movement.
