Very scarce Hamilton “Otis” men’s Streamline design presentation wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1940.
The “Otis” has a reversible case where the dial can be flipped over and is one of the most desirable Hamilton models. It was priced at $67.50 in 1940. Hamilton produced this example especially for the White Club. This example is in excellent condition, with only a few specks of brassing to the lugs and a very faint, thin line on the bezel. Otherwise, the ribbed bezel is sharp and crisp. Caseback is superb and unengraved, with most of its factory-applied brushed finish. Case measures 40mm long and 24mm wide. Refinished black dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 19 jewel Hamilton grade 982 movement.
