Elgin “Home Run 462” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1931.
The “Home Run 462” has a large octagonal case with engraved bezel. It was priced to consumers at $37.50 in 1931. This example is in very good condition, with some light wear in the bezel corners and a few small dings along the left edge. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 38mm long and 31mm wide. Dial is very good with some moderate patina. Has gold embossed numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Elgin grade 487 movement.
