Scarce Gruen “Quadron Model 41” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K green gold, circa 1929.
This watch is one of the largest solid gold models in Gruen’s “Quadron” series. Quadron models are scarce in solid gold and this is the first example of this model I have offered. It was priced to consumers at $75.00 in 1929. It is in excellent condition showing only slight wear. Curved caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 38mm long and 24mm wide. Original dial is very good. Has new glass crystal. Has original green crown. This watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Gruen Precision grade 117 Quadron movement.
