Lord Elgin “Dunbar” men’s Retro Modern design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1958.
Elgin produced some fantastic Retro Modern designs wristwatches during 1950s. This model has a very striking wedge-shaped case that is wider at the top than at the bottom. It was priced at $79.50 in 1958. This example is in excellent condition with a few specks of brassing to the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 36mm long and 27mm wide. Original black finish dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 23 jewel Elgin grade 730 adjusted movement.
