Hamilton “Ross” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1940.
This example of the “Ross“ has a very unusual gilt and white finish dial, one of only a handful I’ve ever seen. I believe this color combination was also produced for the dial of the “Yorktowne” model. It was priced at $52.50 in 1940. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with only a few specks of brassing to the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Original gilt and white finish dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel grade 980 movement.
