Extremely rare Hamilton “Tiffany Cushion” men’s Modern design wristwatch in solid 18K yellow gold, circa 1931.
This is perhaps the rarest Hamilton wristwatch I have ever offered. Hamilton supplied a select variety of watches to the prestigious New York jeweler Tiffany & Co., ultimately producing 83 examples of the “Cushion” model for the firm, and only 11 watches with the 987 movement such as this one. This example is in crisp, near mint condition showing virtually no wear. Caseback is superb and unengraved, with the inside correctly marked “Tiffany & Co.” The case measures 35mm long and 27mm wide. Refinished dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. Movement is 17 jewel Hamilton grade 987-F.
