Uncommon Elgin “Style No. 38” ladies’ Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold with black enamel, circa 1928.
The “Style No. 38” has a solid 14K gold case inlaid with black enamel designs. It was priced to consumers at $60.00 in 1928. It is in crisp, excellent condition with showing only light wear. Enamel is perfect and complete Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 30mm long and 17mm wide. Dial is superb. Has new glass crystal.The watch is powered by its correct 15 jewel Elgin grade 484 movement. The cord bracelet is sized for a fairly dainty wrist.
