Hamilton “Medwick” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill, circa 1939.
The “Medwick” was offered only in 1939 and was priced at $37.50 with the black figure dial. The “Medwick” with the black figure dial is very scarce, less than 1,000 were sold. This example is in excellent condition with only a small amount of brassing to the bezel. The caseback is excellent, with a presentation engraving from 1940. The case measures 39mm long and 27mm wide. Original two-tone dial is excellent, marked “0147“ near the bottom. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Hamilton grade 987A movement.
