Scarce Hamilton “Winslow” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1935.
The “Winslow” was sold with a braided leather cord bracelet. It was priced at $45.00 in 1935 and is fairly scarce, with a production of only 3,370 watches. Usually seen with a gold marker dial, the gold numeral dial is very scarce, with less than 200 sold. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 38mm long and 27mm wide. Original dial is excellent, has 18K gold applied numerals. Has new glass crystal. Watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Hamilton grade 987-E movement. Has new leather braided cord. Gold filled hardware for cord shows moderate wear.
