Bulova “Sea King” men’s Modern design wristwatch in stainless steel, circa 1972.
This large, chunky Bulova has a killer two-tone blue dial accented with a blue anodized trim ring on the bezel. I believe this is part of Bulova’s “Sea King” series, but I don’t know the exact model designation. This watch is in excellent condition showing most of its brushed finish, with some nicks and scratches. Blue anodized trim ring is excellent, with some very minor scuffs and nicks. Screwdown caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 43mm long and 37mm wide. Original dial is spectacular with two-tone blue concentric rings and polished steel markers. The original luminous tritium inlay on the hands and markers have aged to a pleasing vintage cream color. Has new acrylic crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Bulova grade 11ACCD manual wind movement with date feature, just serviced and running strong. Has original signed Bulova steel crown.
