Elgin “Model E-7” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K green gold fill, circa 1928.
The “Model E-7” has an ornately engraved bezel and lugs and is fairly uncommon in green. It was priced at $35.00 in 1928. This example is in excellent condition with only a little brassing to the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 33mm long and 30mm wide. Dial is an older refinish and has Gothic-style black painted numerals. Has new glass crystal. Crown is yellow. Watch is powered by its correct 7 jewel Elgin grade 430 movement.
