Gruen “Stanley” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill and steel, circa 1940.
This watch has a small square case with large, curved lugs. It was priced at $37.50 in 1940. It is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing, just a small nick on the lower right lug. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 37mm long and 21mm wide. Original three-tone black, gray, and silver dial is spectacular. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15 jewel Gruen Veri-Thin grade 401C movement.
