Rare Hamilton “Turner” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 10K white gold fill, circa 1935.
The “Turner” has a very distinct, casket-shaped case and elegant applied gold markers. It is rare in white, only 420 were produced. It was priced at $40.00 in 1935 with the gold marker dial. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with only a microscopic speck of brassing in each bezel corner. It is the best white “Turner” case I have ever seen. Caseback is superb and unengraved, with no wear. The case measures 39mm long and 27mm wide. Original dial is excellent, has solid 18K gold applied markers. Gilt hands show a little plating loss. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Hamilton grade 987-E movement.
