Illinois “New Yorker” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1928.
With its unusual horizontal oriented case and ocean wave engraved designs along its sides, the “New Yorker” is a very eye-catching design. The “New Yorker” was priced to consumers at $50.00 in 1928. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with only a microscopic speck or two of brassing to the bezel. Case still has all of its original black inlay. Caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 34mm long and 28mm wide. Original two-tone dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Illinois movement.
