Very scarce Illinois “Piccadilly” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1929.
Among the most desirable of Illinois wristwatches, the “Piccadilly” has a sculpted oval case. It priced to consumers at $45.00 in 1929. This is the finest example I have ever offered and is in crisp, near mint condition with no brassing, just a few light marks. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 32mm long and 35mm wide. Refinished dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Illinois grade 905 movement.
